I booked two nights but never managed to check in. My flight was delayed by two hours, and Luciano said I couldn’t get in. At midnight I had to find another hotel, and with everything closed I paid €200 for one night at excelsior. The next day I waited until noon to finally get my room, but meanwhile Luciano had cancelled my reservation and given it to someone else. I’d paid for that room, and he says I won’t get a refund. This is the worst hotel service I’ve ever had, and it shouldn’t be allowed. I definitely don’t recommend it. Luciano never showed up and would only communicate by WhatsApp message.

A beautiful place.

The bathroom had an unpleasant stale smell, and I spent the night awake after finding insects in there. I couldn’t tell whether they were cockroaches or beetles, plus there was another bug I couldn’t identify. The stay also cost more than the services justified. Wi-Fi was included in the price but didn’t work, and the intimate wash and shower gel weren’t disposable, which felt unhygienic. I stayed one night and had a negative experience, to say the least.

We were woken in the middle of the night because we hadn’t been told there were other tenants, and our master keys had been left hanging on the door. We’d been given the impression the room and common area were for us alone, almost like a home, not shared with other people. In reality, others could come and go freely, so strangers might be able to enter the room and go through our belongings. The room looked nice and well presented, but it had no windows or ventilation, and the price wasn’t justified by the quality. It was a surreal, embarrassing experience for my friend and me. I don’t expect to return anytime soon.
