The main nuisance was the morning noise. Despite being at the back of a courtyard staircase, we were woken before 8:00 on both nights by people talking loudly on the stairs for around 20 minutes, along with construction sounds. Disposable slippers would have been a nice extra, too. The room itself felt almost brand new, with good amenities and a very warm welcome from our host. The air conditioning worked so well that at 22 degrees Celsius we wanted a duvet. The Queen’s Room is a lovely suite in a great spot. Piazza Vanvitelli is lively by day and calmer in the evening, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The metro is right on the square, and Garibaldi is about 15-20 minutes away. A beautiful room in a beautiful location. If you’re up before 8 a.m., the noise may not bother you, and the shops around charming Place Vanvitelli are a real draw.
