We stayed two nights in the Parrot room, which had such thoughtful decor and lots of interesting details. The owner was kind and very helpful. It's a smart room with high tech and Netflix, a great bonus for winding down late at night, since we didn't feel very safe outside after dark. Sitting out on the balcony was lovely, with a really nice view of the port. The breakfast was delicious, and having a surveillanced parking lot across the building was convenient since we came by car. The location on a big street in an older building does make it pretty loud, so light sleepers should bring ear buds. Also, I wouldn't recommend driving in Napoli 😂

The host was so lovely and gave us lots of ideas for food and things to see. The room was neat and clean, with complimentary coffee, shower supplies, breakfast at a really nice cafe, and a balcony. Getting checked in took more than an hour, though it wasn’t the host’s fault. The shower was the main letdown: it’s open to the room, water collects on the floor, the controls are unreliable, and the pressure is weak. The area is a fair way from the sights if you don’t have a car.

The room was clean, thanks to the cleaning lady. But the promised breakfast wasn’t served. We were given raw ingredients and told to prepare it ourselves, and the coffee pods came without milk. The bathroom has no door or curtain, so it seems suited only to solo travelers, not friends or family. The toilet also wobbled. I’m giving one star for the cleanliness.
