Vomero House

For a light sleeper, the rooms facing the interior are extremely quiet. The ones on the mezzanine floor facing the fairly busy street may be noisier, as there's a small outdoor seating area with tables. The B&B is on an elegant, central street, and the owner was genuinely friendly and kind. It was very clean and new. Our room had only a small desk and chair, no bedside tables, and barely any counter space. Since we stayed just one night, that was fine. I can see this being a good base for future visits to Naples.

The room was spacious, clean, and well kept, with a simple style. The bathroom was a little tight, but the shower was really comfortable. You're right in the middle of Vomero, so it can get crowded, particularly on weekends. Still, the location is handy, and the metro makes getting around easy.

Mrs. Rosa was kind and helpful from our first contact, and quickly suggested an excellent parking spot just steps from the B&B. The only small drawback I found was the thin mattress on the single bed. The property was recently renovated and very clean, with a lovely bathroom. It's in a beautiful, elegant pedestrian area of Vomero, with lots of bars and the metro and funicular just a short walk away. Excellent value, and I'd definitely recommend it.

The hygiene in the room wasn't great, and I found the price outrageous for what the property offers. After I specifically requested a double room when booking, I found two single beds pushed together that kept separating. The hairdryer only worked for a couple of minutes, and there was no soap in the bathroom, which made using the facilities uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend this place.
