Yes I Know My Room - Storico

The bathroom was modern and very clean, and the room felt fresh, with a brand new AC. It’s in a classic Naples building, so you get a sense of local life, but noise wasn’t an issue for us. You can close the roller blinds, and the window faces the backyard. A really nice place in the heart of Naples centro storico.

I can’t comment on the rooms themselves since I had to cancel before staying. I’d used the available booking options to say I needed a ground-floor room or, at most, one on the first floor because of serious mobility problems. I later learned it was on the third floor with no elevator, so I couldn’t get there. The booking didn’t include free cancellation, but I contacted the property right away and politely explained the situation, asking to cancel without a penalty. The owner said he’d cancel only if he could rent the room to someone else, but never gave me another update. In the end, he kept about €50. He even suggested I was "loathsome" for pressing him about the money, while admitting he was having financial trouble because he couldn’t fill the property. He also made inappropriate jokes and tasteless insinuations that had no place in a professional exchange. Before arrival, I’d already experienced rudeness and no professionalism. Even a beautiful property loses its value when management doesn’t treat customers with courtesy and respect. I’ll never return, and strongly advise against this experience.

The location is hard to beat, right in the historic center yet as quiet as a country farmhouse, which is incredible. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Everything had just been renovated, including the clean, spacious, well-organized bathroom with its big shower. The WiFi was very strong and worked great.

We spent four days in Naples, and the location was first-rate, central and convenient for everything. The rooms were very nicely renovated. Breakfast was at a bar just a few meters away. We were on the third floor with no elevator, so the stairs were a bit inconvenient, but manageable.
