A dream stay for anyone into contemporary art. We stayed at Palazzo Muci, Maritati or Mateo, and the staff were excellent, always glad to show guests around and explain the artwork. Muci has a lovely garden and pool, a great spot to unwind in the middle of Nardò. Breakfast on the rooftop was extravagant, and the personal hospitality made me want to stay forever :)

Breakfast was small, but thoughtfully made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It was simple, elegant, and delicious. From the minute we arrived at Palazzo Muci, the warm, genuine welcome made us feel at home. The building has been beautifully restored, with loads of charm and character while still being comfortable. There’s something special and authentic in every corner. I’d highly recommend it if you’re visiting Nardò or the Salento region.

Those four nights were a lovely start to our Puglia trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the whole boutique hotel felt like a beautifully styled oasis. Service was warm and so attentive that we felt genuinely looked after. Breakfast each day was a highlight, tailored to what we liked, and the yoga classes on site were a real plus. A fantastic place to relax.

We made Palazzo Muci our base for a week in Puglia to celebrate my 60th birthday. It’s a tucked-away gem in the heart of Nardo, within walking distance of the lovely piazza, and having accommodation for our rental car was incredibly handy. The service was above and beyond even before we arrived. Laura felt like our own concierge, helping us book a beach club and restaurants nearby and along the coast. One local spot even had a Monday night dance performance that we loved. She was also available on WhatApp whenever we needed help, from parking in Galipoli and Aberebello to finding the best lunch in Tricase or good pizza and dining on the piazza. Every recommendation was wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful, with breakfast cooked daily and served on the outdoor terrace. There was fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, pastries, and eggs made to order. Laura and the staff made everything easy and memorable. I highly recommend staying here!

Laura and Damiano shared helpful recommendations each day, which made our visit even more memorable. We instantly fell for Nardò, and Palazzo Muci charmed us from the warm welcome to the tasteful decor and peaceful pool. We loved our stay and will definitely return!
