It was nice to have extra pillows in the room.

The scenery and nature are wonderful, and the hosts were lovely. Highly recommend it.

The owners went out of their way to help when my brother and I showed up a day early last summer. They had no room because we hadn’t realized the hotel was full, but the owner and her husband called other places until they found us somewhere to stay that night. They were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, and gave us helpful hiking tips. It’s an easy walk to the town center, with the Adige River just behind the hotel. We liked walking along the promenade, and there’s a big children’s playground nearby. The little outdoor pool was open from day through evening, and there were always fresh, large towels. Breakfast included cold cuts, fresh jams, muesli, yogurt, juice, fruit, tomato and mozzarella, plus sweet snacks. Along with the usual rolls, they had South Tyrolean Vinschgerl each day, and would freshly make scrambled, fried, or boiled eggs if you asked. Our room wasn’t modern, but it had all we needed: a comfortable bed, TV, balcony with mountain views, seating, a clothesline, and a small bathroom with ventilation. Everything was clean and perfectly fine for the reasonable price. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to return :)

We liked being close to both the village center and the bus station, and the garden and pool were beautifully kept. Our room was clean and roomy enough, with a nice balcony where we could sit outside. There’s also secure bike storage with power outlets for e-bikes and a lockable gate. We spent five nights at the Schmiedhof, where the very friendly family made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and had everything we wanted. We’ll definitely be back 😊
