The hotel is very well furnished throughout, and the food was great. The staff were both friendly and knowledgeable, and the service was excellent. A great place to stay.

We were guests and asked to eat in the restaurant, but were told there was no food available, even though other people were eating and drinking there. They suggested a nearby pizza place, but it was closed. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The owners gave an inappropriate and inaccurate account of what happened. No set menu was ever offered when we arrived.

The bright rooms have a lovely panorama, and getting around for excursions is easy. Bus and train stops and the funivia are all within about 300 to 500 meters. Service was perfect, with really friendly staff.

The room was good, and I liked the care given to the historic building. The food was great. Just be aware there’s no air-conditioning or fan.
