Francesca knows Navelli and its history well, and her advice on shops and places to visit was always useful. She looked after us so thoughtfully, with a generous breakfast and rooms that were clean, spacious, and welcoming. We stayed at Abruzzo Segreto in July 2025 and would definitely return.

On both of my visits, the rooms have been clean and full of Italian countryside charm, and breakfast has been fresh and delicious each morning. Francesca and Jimmy also know the local wineries, cheese makers, restaurants, and other places that make a trip to Abruzzo special. This was my second stay, and Abruzzo Segreto really does feel like family.

The owners have gone out of their way to help us, even calling around about my mother's village so we could be sure to visit the right places. Their suggestions over the years are part of why we fell in love with Abruzzo after first discovering it. We've stayed here every year for five years, and they always make it feel like home. It's such a sweet place to stay.

The bed was much too hard for me, though the room was clean, warm, cozy, and welcoming. Francesco was a lovely host and knew a lot about the area's history and surroundings.
