Villa Marisa

The villa has a stunning view of the lake and a spacious private garden with a small pool. Quality, cleanliness, service, and courtesy were all excellent. We'll be back!

Dogs are welcome at this lovely little B&B in a very quiet part of Nebbiuno, above the southwestern shore of Lake Maggiore. We had a beautiful room with a large bathroom and air conditioning, plus a roomy outdoor area with a lawn and a small pool. Breakfast came in a picnic basket with juice, coffee, bread, eggs, and fresh fruit. It was a lovely way to start each day with that stunning lake view. It's a great base for day trips to the charming lakeside towns along the western shore, including Stresa, Cannobio, Verbania, and Arona. Nearby nature reserves are good for hikes, and you can also visit Monte Mottarone or Lake Orta.

The rooms are new and comfortable, with a lovely shower, and we had a great time thanks to the kind, helpful owners. Breakfast on the terrace was superb. The lake views are fantastic both by day and at night, and the small pool is available in summer. There's lots of room to unwind in the garden. A few minor things: some outdoor areas need maintenance, parking inside is a bit inconvenient, and sound carries poorly between the kitchen and breakfast room. Still, I'd definitely recommend it, especially at this time of year when the plants are in bloom. See you next time!

Breakfast arrives in a basket on the terrace overlooking the lake. The host is friendly and helpful. It's a cute B&B with a beautiful view, and the comfortable bedroom is fully equipped and has a good bathroom. There are just three bedrooms in the house, arranged around a shared kitchen. Recommended!
