Bars are plentiful nearby, and there are a few restaurants, though some are temporarily closed. The church across the road rings its bells from morning to night, and traffic adds to the noise, so you can skip setting an alarm. The street-facing room doesn't offer much of a view, and the value for money isn't great. The main reason to stay here is the hospital, about a two-minute walk away. There's no parking at the hotel. A lot about 100 meters farther on, past the town hall, can be accessed with a code. The spaces in front of the hotel use parking discs and white stripes. On Mondays, when the market is on, cars get towed if they aren't moved in time. You'll be reaching for your wallet at every step. The service seems centered on hospital visitors, since when you pay they ask whether you're going to the hospital or booked through Booking.com.

The room costs 88 euros for two, which is fair enough, and the hotel itself is pretty standard. Breakfast is just rusks and coffee from a machine. But 25 euros for a dog is outrageous. That's what you'd expect to pay at a 4-star superior hotel where they provide a dog blanket, bowl, and treats. Sorry, that's not acceptable, and we won't be back.

We paid to sit in the cold, with cold water and no availability at -2 degrees Celsius. The pillows seemed to be nothing but pillowcases. The rooms on the third floor were a terrible choice.

The one good reason I booked was the location, only a two-minute walk from Negrar Hospital. We weren't there for a holiday, though, but for medical reasons, and couldn't just go out to buy water in an unfamiliar city. We ended up shut in the room, with no bottle of water there. The drinks machine was paid, and it didn't work either. One night without drinking water. I'm ashamed I put up with it. For €125 a night for a triple room, I expected far better. It was cold, the mattress was extremely hard, and the bedside table drawers were filthy. Breakfast was forgettable, with packaged croissants and coffee from a hospital-style machine. I was extremely disappointed and will never return. I wholeheartedly advise against staying here. The next day, the electricity was also out from 8:30 AM.
