The location was good, and it felt cozy. It’s small but adequate for one person, and the fireplace was very nice. But there was no shampoo and only half a roll of toilet paper. The extra 120 euro charge for utilities for 2 days and cleaning was out of the question. We reluctantly worked out an appropriate check-in time.

A quiet area with a well-equipped kitchen, a nice pool area, and a football pitch. It’s a great base for exploring Lazio, Rome included, and we had excellent contact with the owners. Perfect for a family holiday and an unforgettable stay :)

Claudia was attentive, available, and made sure we had what we needed. We spent the weekend here with family, though it would also suit a romantic getaway for two. The villa sits among Nepi’s green hills, and the careful details and refined country-style furnishings caught our eye as soon as we walked in. Nepi will stay in our hearts, and if we return, we’ll stay at Casale delle Papere again.

Families with children can have unforgettable experiences here, surrounded by nature and the farm animals. We also found it peaceful for a couple’s stay with our dog, and a good place to recharge before taking daily excursions to nearby cities. The setting is charming and close to Rome and several historically interesting towns. The furnishings are elegant and refined while still comfortable and practical.
