A comfortable, pleasant place in a 4th Century Etruscan and Roman building. The food is genuine and made from their own produce, and the people are very kind. Excellent Italian hospitality!

The food was poor, though the dessert was edible. The set menu arrived cold, the fettuccine was bland and watery, and the dishes looked nothing like the pictures online. When we asked for clean cutlery to replace the dirty ones, they said they couldn’t do it. Prices were low, but the quality was truly bad, and the service was awful.

We’d reserved a triple room for three people in early January, but there wasn’t a clean one when we arrived. They gave us the only rooms available, two doubles. We found a used toothbrush and toothpaste in the room, and woke up during the night because it was too hot, probably from the heating being turned up too high. Maybe we chose an unlucky time of year, but that doesn’t excuse it.

We tried this restaurant for the first time, going for dinner with my wife. The staff were cheerful and so courteous, and the food was truly excellent. It was also very affordable, just €20 from appetizer to coffee. A really lovely place, highly recommended!

On New Year’s Eve, we’d booked for four, but the welcome was flat and the service wasn’t up to scratch. The organization was terrible, the house wine was awful, and they had no other bottled wine to offer. The evening was ruined at 1:30 AM. A disappointing experience.
