Bosco Della Serenissima

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean, but we didn't feel safe here. We were on the ground floor and checked that the windows were shut and locked before heading out. When we got back late that night, the bathroom window had been unlocked and left open wide enough for someone to get in. Thankfully we had no valuables in the room, but it was unsettling. We didn't see any staff during our stay. A noisy group of teenagers crowded the place where the keys were, so we spent over 15 minutes looking and sending messages to find ours. The Nuki digital key is on your phone, which left us unable to get into the building or room when our phone battery ran out or the Wi-Fi went down during a storm. Also, Nuki is extremely hackable. There was no breakfast, despite it being promised, and the attached restaurant had nothing for sale either. The huge car park is also used by roadwork trucks and restaurant customers. We had to wait in the car for quite a while until someone left the restaurant and a space opened up. All in all, not a good experience. We were in the area to visit Ai Pioppi, which was awesome, but next time we'd drive a couple of hours to get to the park.

We booked at the last minute for a quick stop on a road trip. The hotel is really cute, and it was clean. The bathroom wasn't high design, but it was fine. The online door key setup was slow and didn't work properly. The long WhatsApp explanation and weak Wi-Fi meant we lost time trying to get inside. We arrived too late to try the restaurant and left without breakfast, though I don't know whether it's included. Even so, I'd stop here again if I passed by, but I'd ask for a bigger room.

The price is very affordable, and the location is good. Staff were polite, and everything was very clean, which is why I'd give it four stars. The rooms feel a little dated, and there were no drinks, coffee-making facilities, or bathroom toiletries. No breakfast either.
