B&B Il Masso Grasso Lake Como

We had a fantastic two-night stay in Nesso. The town is beautiful, with its waterfall and mossy stone paths, and the waterfall nearby made no disturbance at all while we slept. The place is easy to reach by bus, close to a convenience store, and David was so friendly and attentive. Our room was lovely and clean, with beautiful artwork by an artist, and the price was affordable. Breakfast was hearty too. I did notice a slight cigarette smell in the room, though not on the bed, so non-smokers might catch a faint whiff.

The location worked really well for us. Nesso sits about halfway between Como and Bellagio, with a restaurant and several cafes and bars nearby. Getting to the house means tackling some stairs, which can be a little tiring, but that was the only drawback. We were charmed by the peaceful surroundings, the nature, and how kind everyone was. The room was just what we wanted, furnished with antiques, very clean, and equipped with a fan. We shared a terrace with the guests in the next room, and the view across Lake Como was magnificent. Breakfast is a self-serve buffet with everything you need, including delicious homemade cakes. I'd highly recommend staying here.
