La Cascata Lake Como

We stopped at Bar La Cascata for a snack and a cool drink, and it was such a nice place to pause and enjoy the scenery. You feel right in the middle of the lake and gorge, with gorgeous views from the bar and a relaxed atmosphere. The bar is in Ness, looking out directly over the Orrido di Nesso waterfalls as they tumble down towards Lake Como. It's a real gem, especially if you're traveling around the area before heading on to Bellagio. More than a quick stop, it's a chance to take in one of the lake's natural sights. Highly recommended!

We really appreciated the fair prices, and the family running the place seem genuinely nice. You can tell it's a welcoming local spot when people from the area pop in for a quick drink too. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a coffee and snack. You're amazing, and thanks for not overcharging!

They were so welcoming and kind, spoke English, and helped us a lot with directions. Whenever we ordered drinks, they kept bringing us lots of free food, and they even let us wait inside for our bus. We had such a lovely time here. It was way better than the fancy, overpriced places we'd visited around the area.

A warm welcome and stunning views make this a wonderful hidden gem on what I think is the world's most beautiful lake.
