Resort Baia Del Silenzio

The location is nice, and could be great for an Italian family with kids looking for a lively, fun holiday. But if you don't speak Italian, staying here doesn't make much sense. The caravans are very small for four adults, and we felt we paid too much for what we got. I wouldn't recommend booking one. Otherwise, it might not be the best choice.

The beach is lovely, and so is the entertainment, but the music was very loud from 10 a.m. to noon and during some evening events, sometimes from 9 p.m. until midnight. It made enjoying the beach in the morning uncomfortable. The young staff looking after us were all amazing. Our caravan worked really well for us, with the kitchen, toilet, and room just as shown online. The place itself is amazing, though I’m a bit mixed about my personal experience. The view is advertised as sea view, but only a few units have a great view. For most, the new eco house built in front blocks almost all of it, as you can see in the pictures.

We’ve stayed here twice now and still love it. It’s nice to see the park continuing to improve, and it has everything: an infinity pool, bar, beach, pedalos, and more. The restaurant is good, though fairly pricey for the region. There are mostly Italian guests, which adds to the atmosphere. The resort has quite a steep change in elevation, but electric carts run back and forth all day to carry people. A fantastic place to unwind.

The kids had a great time with all the things to do, from water sports and boat trips to pier diving. The facilities are amazing, and the pool area is better than at some five-star hotels. The entertainment team does a great job, and the staff are wonderful. We really enjoyed our week in this beautiful setting. Our only issue was the rooms: a bit too basic, with lumpy beds and very flat pillows, and the air conditioning didn't cool bedroom 2. Still, that shouldn't put you off this amazing place.
