The pool is a real highlight, with lots of space and a big, padded shallow area that felt very safe for children. The lodges are also true luxury by glamping standards, with a Smeg-style fridge, air conditioning and a lovely veranda. Set among the pine trees, the site feels calm and peaceful. You can rent bikes, book the paddle court or go for a swim, and the restaurant and cafe serve good food at reasonable prices. The little supermarket has pretty much everything you need. There’s fun entertainment every day, and the Saturday show is seriously impressive. Most of it is in Italian, but our English-speaking family still enjoyed it, even though we know very little Italian. The team put in loads of effort and energy. Staff were wonderful throughout. Isola Verde isn’t too big, and the pool never felt too busy. Anzio and Nettuno are 15-30 minutes away, and a trip to Ponza island is a must. Rome is less than an hour by car. I’d recommend Isola Verde to couples and especially families. We had one of our best holidays ever, thank you!

The staff were so friendly, and there was plenty to keep the kids busy during a really lovely vacation. Our glamping unit had everything else we needed, but could use a few more basic cooking utensils, like a spoon, ladle and spatula, so I couldn't give the room a full five stars. The mini market was useful, well stocked and had great prices. We also loved the restaurant and coffee shop.

The staff were amazingly friendly, and we had a great week here. There was everything we needed, and our tiny house was well equipped. The pool was wonderful, and the kids also had lots of fun at the farm. The main things to know are about timing and the bedrooms. The kids' club staff tried hard, but spoke almost only Italian, including at the mini disco, so more English would have helped. The disco also starts quite late by Northern European standards. If you need your kids asleep before about 11:30 pm, that could be a problem. The air conditioning is only in the kitchen, and closing the bedroom doors meant no air circulation and uncomfortable heat. We left them open, but then the kitchen shades didn't block enough light and sunrise woke us. That doesn't pair well with the late nights. If those things don't bother you, it's a great place to stay.

The pool was great, and the animals were cute. Our pitch among the pine trees had its own bathroom and enough space between pitches to feel fairly private. The bathroom was small but fine. Hot water was limited, though, so a family of five like ours had to wait for it.

We were impressed by the campsite itself: it was spacious, peaceful, clean and well looked after, including the sanitary facilities. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout. Under different circumstances, we'd have given it five stars. The restaurant brought down our impression. The service there was attentive and friendly, but the prices seemed completely unrealistic. A basic antipasti plate of simple cold cuts and cheese cost €20, and the seafood plate was just two shrimp and a small piece of cuttlefish. After weeks of trying food across Italy, this was by far our worst meal and one of the most overpriced. Either the chef didn't know the prices or it felt like a pure rip-off. The campsite is great, but the restaurant needs to rethink its menu.
