I've stayed at la rena rossa twice. The owners are really nice and helpful, and the place is quiet and very clean, with a beautiful private garden. There's safe parking, and the supermarket and restaurants are a five-minute walk away.

It wouldn't take much to get this very nice property spotless, but the cleanliness was poor. The stairs were dusty, and when I pointed it out, I was told they'd noticed they hadn't been cleaned. There was limescale on the bathroom fixtures, and the shower had black edges. The towels were old and worn, and smelled bad. Breakfast was just four croissants and four pieces of bread for four people. There's room to improve.

Giorgio was friendly, helpful, and really nice to deal with. The room was spacious and comfortable, and having private parking was handy. It’s centrally located in town, close to a bar, pizzeria, and other amenities, with Mount Etna right nearby and easy to reach. The one thing missing was a coffee machine!!! We’ve already booked again for Easter.
