Great hospitality, and a good place to spend a few days beneath Etna. Nicolosi center is close by foot, with coffee, gelato at Marialuisa, pizza and pasta, meat at Il Giardino, and steak at Filleteria Marconi. You can also use the homestay as a base for Etna, Catania, Taormina and Bronte (pistachii). There's even a super perk place inside the facility if you're on motorbikes.

We arrived at Parco delle Tre Fontane with my wife on July 22, long after midnight, and the elderly couple running the B&B welcomed us warmly. We were desperate for somewhere to stay after Expedia booked us into a hotel that no longer exists, Grand Hotel Bonaccorsi in Pedara. Don't trust Expedia. This place is wonderfully quiet, yet Nicolosi nightlife is only a 15-minute walk away. The view of Etna is splendid, and the route from Catania to Nicolosi is easy to follow thanks to the signs. Being high above Catania also makes the summer heat pleasant, even at its peak. Our spacious room was very clean, with fresh sheets and towels every day. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and breakfast was among the best I've had at a B&B. There's plenty of parking inside and outside the gate, plus a tennis court and fitness equipment on the large grounds. The owners speak only Italian, but we had no trouble communicating, and their son speaks English. This was by far the best B&B I've stayed at on my trips to Italy and Sicily, a definite 5-star among B&Bs.

The rooms were clean, but I expected a bigger park. The photos are a little misleading. The main drawback is the distance from Nicolosi center: it's definitely not walkable, and it's also more than 750 meters, despite what the owners specify.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and we had clean rooms and a good, filling breakfast. We stayed in September at this quiet spot at the foot of Mount Etna. You can see the volcano and its fumaroles from the garden.
