The upper part of town has a lovely, atmospheric feel, even though it takes a bit of a walk to reach the sea. Our first-floor room was clean and had a bathroom, TV, air conditioning, wardrobe, cabinets, and a small balcony. In the evenings you could sit there and hear a family from the Italian countryside chatting across the street. I’d recommend staying here, there really wasn’t anything to complain about.

We had a lovely 12-day stay. The B&B is well placed for getting around town, and it’s easy to do that on foot. There’s also a faster route down to the sea. The rooms were kept clean and tidy the whole time.

The staff were helpful and the service was decent. Still, you can’t take the shortcut to Nicotera Marina.

There’s a historical feel to the place. The locals are strict Catholics, but they’re very warm.

The owner gave us excellent service when we arrived.
