B&B La Porta Rossa

I really enjoyed staying at "La Porta Rossa" Bed & Breakfast in Noale. The owners made me feel at home right away and were kind, attentive, and available with information about Noale and the nearby area. Everything during my stay went smoothly. The B&B is charming and well cared for, with a welcoming feel, and my room was clean, comfortable, and had the amenities I needed. It’s also in a quiet area near Noale’s historic center. I’d happily stay there again and recommend it as a comfortable, welcoming base. The service and value were both excellent.

The building has been recently renovated, and the place has a homey feel. It’s very close to the center, which made it great for a short getaway with my girlfriend. The hosts were really kind and helpful.

The place is attractive and welcoming, with a small living room, three guest tables, and a kitchen with a fridge, microwave, induction hob, and coffee pod machine for breakfast. But some details need more care. We only saw our room, "Venice," and the next one, "New York." The rooms are themed, Venetian and New York style, and there may be one or two others. The room names weren’t on the doors, so when we arrived late, a friend had given us a key but we had no idea which room was ours. We worked it out by trial and error. Inside, the Venetian-style room was beautiful and well furnished, with a comfortable bed, electric shutters, and floor lights. It looked like an architect had a hand in it. The bathroom has just one dim light and no lighting by the mirror. The toilet keeps running unless you press its button repeatedly. The floor lights can’t be switched off from bed, so you have to get up. That seems odd when each bedside table has a control-panel-like box with at least 14 slots for switches and other devices. One switch cuts power to the bedside lamp outlet, so a phone plugged in there might not charge. There’s also a "bell" switch that could be hit by mistake at night when you’re trying to turn on a light, waking someone else. The electrical setup doesn’t seem well thought out, and a couple more outlets would help with charging phones, tablets, and other things. The double closet has hanging space on one side and no shelves at all on the other, which is strange. The rating loses another star because guests’ needs could be better considered. We paid €90 per night in cash, since card payment wasn’t possible, and got no receipt. We also didn’t provide our documents. It’s a nice place, but it could use more attention to these details.
