Agriturismo Beethoven

The grounds smelled bad and were unclean, and the surrounding area wasn't maintained well either. For a farm, there were only two pigs. It may have been the cheapest option nearby, but next time I'll spend a little more.

The apartment had two roomy bedrooms and comfortable beds with new mattresses. It’s a little dated, but clean and fresh, with cleaning provided. There are lovely trees and plants around the large grounds, though they’re a bit messy. Still, everything was clean and you couldn’t smell the animals. The children had space to play, and there’s plenty to do at the agriturismo, like picking nuts, horseback riding and watching the animals. The location is central, and the people were very sweet and helpful. Breakfast was limited but excellent, especially that delicious cappuccino. Good value for money. At the restaurant, service was friendly and pleasant. The food was simple, fresh and perfectly fine, though don’t expect a Michelin-starred restaurant. The antipasti were delicious, and the pizza on Fridays and Saturdays was delicious too. Music nights have Italian-style karaoke, with the locals seeming to compete in a singing contest. Fun to see, but why so loud? The welcome was warm, under intense fluorescent lights.

We couldn’t rest because late-night karaoke from the pizzeria restaurant carried into the rooms nearby. The place was dirty and poorly maintained, and there was dog hair on the floors and beds, which is inexcusable even for a farmhouse. Staff were rude and denied what was plainly there.

Such a letdown. The property was neglected and poorly kept, and the bathroom smelled unpleasantly of sewage. The room TV didn’t work, of course. Thankfully, we only stayed one night. Never again!
