Dimora Mastromarco

The orchard was there for guests to harvest, and the place has a barbecue and private pool. It’s absolutely amazing. The one thing we weren’t keen on was the owner coming by every morning to check on us.

Five stars, excellent.

We had a wonderful stay in a completely quiet spot. The trullo was comfortable, spotless, and had all the essentials, including a microwave. Each trullo has its own gazebo by the gorgeous pool, which gave us plenty of comfort and privacy. Hot water never ran out, even in the outdoor showers, which were lovely to use by the pool and outside the house. Mery, Donato, and our host, Dr. Sebastiano, the Noci veterinarian, were wonderful people. Mery welcomed us with fruit she had grown herself and products she had jarred. The house also had coffee, oil, salt, vinegar, and everything needed to sort recycling in line with the law. There was a shared washing machine with soap and fabric softener, plus a drying rack and towel lines. We didn't use the barbecue, but it was available next to a handy kitchen area with a sink. Being allowed to pick vegetables from the owner's garden was an exceptional bonus. The local recommendations were excellent too. We especially recommend Martina Franca and Fasano Zoo Safari for adults and kids, with animals from all over the world. In Fasano after the Safari, you can also go on the rides at Fasanoland, a park that was managed extremely well, even during the ongoing COVID emergency. We can't wait to come back!

The pool is spacious and fits the atmosphere beautifully, and the partly shared garden is a lovely place to enjoy the surroundings, have a BBQ, drink wine, and just enjoy life. Dimora Mastromarco's two accommodations feel wonderfully authentic, even though one is less than 20 years old. If you want true luxury, this might not be the place I'd recommend. But for a charming stay where you can relax and immerse yourself in the real Puglia, I can recommend it 100%.
