Masseria Dirupo

The organic produce from the masseria’s farm was excellent, and I’m glad we chose to stay here and try it. The place is quiet and green, just a few minutes by car from Alberobello and roughly halfway between the Ionian and Adriatic coasts. It’s an ideal spot to relax in nature. Our rooms were in beautifully renovated trulli, and the welcome was lovely.

The Lippolis brothers are so kind and welcoming. They serve a generous breakfast, and the rooms are clean and full of character. The farmhouse sits in a peaceful, wooded, green area, close to charming villages and good places to go hiking.

Giuseppe and Stefano were attentive, kind, and discreet, and ready to help with anything we needed. Staying in a trullo is a special experience. The farmhouse is inland, surrounded by an almost unreal quiet, with fresh air at sunset and a starry sky. It’s also well placed for the best-known spots in the Itria Valley, and about forty minutes from both the Ionian and Adriatic Seas. I’d highly recommend it for a relaxing, restorative break.

Giuseppe really cares about his guests, and you can feel it in the warm welcome and the wonderful breakfast Rosita prepared. We found peace here at the end of summer, with beautiful nature all around. The trullo is simple and lovely. Thank you for such a calm, welcoming stay.
