Relais Palazzo Lodron - Guest House

Laura made us feel completely at home during our mini-moon after the wedding. When we got back late one night without any water, she brought us still and sparkling water just two minutes later. She also knows the area well and went out of her way to make our stay feel special. The hotel is gorgeous inside and out, full of authentic Italian touches and history from the owners' family. Our room looked out onto stunning mountains, so we could enjoy the scenery day or night. It's cozy, peaceful, and romantic, with lots to do in nearby towns and service that was impeccable. Breakfast was phenomenal, with homemade local food. I'm gluten free, and Laura had bought pastries for me. I can't recommend staying here enough!

Laura was a wonderfully friendly and helpful hostess. I was glad to get the free Trentino guest pass for the art museum in Rovereto, and her tip for the local restaurant “de Tarczal” was spot on. We liked it so much we went three times. The old palazzo sits peacefully on a hillside opposite Rovereto, with lovely views and a small garden. Our room was spacious and comfortable, especially the bed. There's an indoor pool, outdoor seating when the weather's good, and a garage for parking. A few drawbacks: the WiFi was absolutely terrible, even with a separate plug-in modem, and the thick old walls also made 5/4G reception poor. The bathroom needed attention, with staining around the bath and shower. Breakfast was unexciting, though gluten-free products were available. It's a quiet village, and we couldn't see any decent restaurants or bars within walking distance, so a car is definitely needed. A shared lounge with an honor bar would be a nice addition.

The peaceful setting among Nogaredo's vineyards and mountains made this feel like a proper escape. The gardens were beautifully kept, and the views added to the calm. Inside, the rooms balanced the Palazzo's heritage, with antique furniture and thoughtful decor, against comfortable bedding and well-equipped facilities. The staff welcomed me warmly and stayed attentive throughout. They knew the area well and were happy to help, which made the visit feel personal. The graceful architecture and quiet atmosphere brought the history of Relais Lodron to life. With its historical charm, attentive service, exceptional cuisine, and idyllic surroundings, Relais Palazzo Lodron was an enchanting stay. I left wanting to return.

The staff were incredibly nice, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is charming, with lovely valley views, and occupies part of a medieval palace while keeping its character. A wonderful place to stop close to the highway.
