Chalet Clara

The staff are warm and helpful, and the service is well organized. I haven't stayed here, but I've been to lunches and dinners at the new Tagoro restaurant in Nogarole Vic. They serve refined traditional dishes made with local ingredients, at reasonable prices, and there's plenty of free private parking nearby. Check that a table is available for safety reasons.

Good pizzas, and the hostess and staff were very friendly. The rooms are small for two and only have a little fan instead of air conditioning, which isn't much in August. It's a casual place, but I'd come back.

We were pleased with the menu and the food. We turned up on a Sunday after 1 pm, without a booking and outside opening hours, but the owner was very polite and friendly and served us excellently. I'd definitely return if I get the chance. Highly recommended.

The food was good, but the room was filthy. Mold was in both the room and bathroom, and I think the electrical sockets weren't up to standard. The bed's side section came off when I leaned on it. From 1:30 pm to 4 pm, you can't come and go freely because they only give you the room key, even at night. To watch TV, you have to unplug it and change the socket. And abandoned.
