We couldn't get useful directions from the B&B owner before arriving, and reaching him by phone didn't help. We eventually got inside because a neighbor contacted him and passed the information on. Check-in was a nightmare. We then tried WhatsApp, but the replies, apparently written with a translator, still weren't enough to communicate properly. When we explained the trouble we'd had, the owner replied, "The important thing is that you are inside now." The narrow spiral staircase to the room also felt unsafe and made carrying luggage difficult. There's a breakfast room, but no breakfast beyond rusks, and nobody there to manage or help in the kitchen. For anyone still considering a stay, the property is in a complex with several houses. The entrance has an automatic iron gate operated by remote. Since guests don't have a remote, you may have to wait for another car to arrive. Even if you reach the owner, you may need someone nearby to help because his English is very poor. Message him on WhatsApp before you arrive to have the main gate opened and get the building entry code. Otherwise, getting in could take 1-2 hours. I can't recommend this place.

We waited over three hours to get into the accommodation, and attempts to contact them went unanswered. Customer service was poor, and they didn't listen to our request for two single beds instead of a double. Since the beds were just two singles pushed together, putting single sheets on them would have been a simple fix, but they used a double sheet and duvet. It felt like they either didn't care or handled service badly.

Angelo was kind and gracious, always available while giving us space, and helped us feel at home. The rooms are surrounded by greenery and very comfortable, with roomy en-suite bathrooms, TV, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The rooms and the rest of the place are cleaned daily with great care. The shared kitchen has everything needed, including cookware, oven, stovetop, large fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Parking is right in front of the B&B. It's in a residential complex, just minutes from the beaches of Torre a Mare, and a convenient drive to Puglia highlights including Bari's historic center, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Alberobello, Trani, Giovinazzo, and Lecce.

The residence is very quiet and has parking inside. We had a peaceful night and received all the instructions remotely from the owner. The gate system could be improved: you call a number to open it, but it isn't immediate, so a remote or faster setup might help. Even if breakfast isn't included, having a bottle of water as a welcome gesture would be appreciated.
