Casa Borgo Regina B&B Bari

We waited over three hours to get into the accommodation, and attempts to contact them went unanswered. Customer service was poor, and they didn't listen to our request for two single beds instead of a double. Since the beds were just two singles pushed together, putting single sheets on them would have been a simple fix, but they used a double sheet and duvet. It felt like they either didn't care or handled service badly.

Angelo was kind and gracious, always available while giving us space, and helped us feel at home. The rooms are surrounded by greenery and very comfortable, with roomy en-suite bathrooms, TV, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. The rooms and the rest of the place are cleaned daily with great care. The shared kitchen has everything needed, including cookware, oven, stovetop, large fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Parking is right in front of the B&B. It's in a residential complex, just minutes from the beaches of Torre a Mare, and a convenient drive to Puglia highlights including Bari's historic center, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, Alberobello, Trani, Giovinazzo, and Lecce.

The residence is very quiet and has parking inside. We had a peaceful night and received all the instructions remotely from the owner. The gate system could be improved: you call a number to open it, but it isn't immediate, so a remote or faster setup might help. Even if breakfast isn't included, having a bottle of water as a welcome gesture would be appreciated.
