La Dolce Vita BB

Staying at Dolcevita B&B felt like being at home. The place is brand new, with elegant modern furnishings, air conditioning, and a functional, lovely bathroom and shower. There’s also a garden open to guests, with views across the valley. It’s just minutes from central Spotorno, so the setting is peaceful. If you’d rather not have your coffee and treats on your own, the owners offer breakfast with a sea view at the bar inside the beach club. It’s a wonderful way to start a beach day. The cleanliness was impeccable. Fiorenza and Rocco are simply wonderful, so courteous, helpful and friendly. My husband and I feel that meeting them was the loveliest, most unexpected bit of luck from our summer of 2019. A heartfelt thank you, and see you next summer!

Fiorenza and Rocco are so kind and helpful, they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The B&B has parking nearby and right in front, plus a fabulous inner garden with plants, fruit and vegetables, and tables and chairs. Everything is new and recently renovated. Our room was spacious, with a modern bathroom, a coffee maker, pastries, croissants and biscuits, and a fridge stocked with water and fruit juice. Guests can also have breakfast at the owners' bar in the beachfront restaurant. Highly recommended!

We visited at the end of August, and the prices were good. The host made us feel like family, always attentive, kind and available to meet our requests. Breakfast was excellent, varied each day, and delivered to our room at the time we chose. The room was comfortable, recently renovated, and had everything from air conditioning to a hairdryer. The only drawback was being 4 km from the sea. On the plus side, it was quiet and away from the crowds. We had a car, but there’s also a municipal shuttle if needed. We'll definitely return.

Breakfast is served at Bagni Mediterranee in Noli, which also has a restaurant well worth trying. Fiorenza is the chef, and there’s something for every palate. We stayed for a week and were very happy. Fiorenza and Rocco are delightful hosts, always welcoming, friendly and available. Their B&B is in a hilltop village, 1 km from the Spotorno toll booth. It was recently renovated and has a distinctive style that plays on its name, with paintings, prints and objects recalling the splendor of Rome's dolce vita. The bathrooms are modern and functional, and the bed is incredibly comfortable. There’s a fridge in the room, along with everything needed to make coffee and biscuits.
