Borgo Il Poggiaccio

We used this as a base for five nights of exploring Tuscany. Florence, Siena, Cortona, Montepulciano, and other lovely places were all about an hour away or less. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms comfortable, and the staff lovely. Dinner was wonderful, and breakfast was outstanding. Their Super Tuscan Malcisi was exceptional too. Highly recommended.

Our guests stayed at Borgo Il Poggiacio and kept telling us how comfortable and charming the rooms were. Having everyone together in such a lovely Tuscan setting made the wedding feel even more connected and special. Planning the celebration and getting through the day felt smooth and stress-free thanks to the owners’ flexibility and support, along with their excellent guidance. The staff paid close attention to every detail and were so accommodating from the start. The property is stunning, but it was the team’s warmth and professionalism that really made it for us. They went above and beyond, and we’re grateful. We couldn’t be happier with the experience and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a magical Tuscan wedding venue.

We flew over from the UK to see wedding venues and had an 11 a.m. Saturday viewing booked here. We stood outside the locked gate for an hour. Nobody came, and nobody answered our calls or emails. A week later, there’s still been no apology or even acknowledgment. Disgusting customer service. I’d also read the negative comments about food quality and the awful sewage smell, so I’m glad we avoided this place.

We came for a private wedding and had a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was some of the best I’ve ever had. I’d give it 10 stars for that alone. Our Junior Suite was clean, roomy, and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and clean, with wonderful views, and the setting and accommodation were beautiful. Thanks for an unforgettable visit.
