Norma is such a charming little town, and House on the Rocks is just as lovely. The view is absolutely gorgeous! There's no air conditioning, but plenty of windows to let fresh air through. Breakfast is limited, though fresh baked goods and a cappuccino at a nearby café are hard to beat.

It's extremely hard to find, and the parking is 1 km away. The place itself is very nice, so 4 stars.

This apartment sits in a charming old village that looks like a postcard, perched on a rock above the landscape. The panoramic view is hard to describe, and the large windows fill the space with natural light. You can watch both the sunrise and sunset, with warm colors in the sky that make the place feel romantic and magical. Inside, ancient and modern elements come together, with an industrial style that works beautifully with the stone structure. It's a peaceful, authentic retreat for a romantic escape or just a break surrounded by tradition and beauty. I'd recommend it to anyone after an unforgettable stay away from the city's hustle and bustle.

Norba turned out to be a proud, fairytale village, and I only found it by chance through a photo of the Gardens of Ninfa. I looked for somewhere to stay nearby on Booking.com and couldn't have made a better choice. The town's history and beautiful natural setting won us over. We could leave the car at a free public parking lot nearby, then walk about five minutes to the apartment. After getting instructions for collecting the key, we could check in and out on our own, which made the stay feel private. The apartment is carved into the rock, and that gives it so much character. It's small but welcoming and has everything needed, including a wood-burning stove that makes it feel like a hearth at home. The balcony and windows open onto a stunning view. The place is romantic and comfortable, with a comfortable bed, warm blankets, and very soft pillows. The owner had also left a selection of films. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, glasses, and cutlery, plus dish soap, coffee, sugar, salt, and oil. The owner was incredibly helpful and kind. We brought our dog, Cesare, without any problem, and she was very hospitable. She sent suggestions for places to see and things to do, including a nearby horseback riding center. Locanda da Valentino is just a short walk away and offers takeout, so we got to enjoy its excellent food with our dog, beside the stove's gentle warmth and soft light. I especially recommend the citrus-flavored ragù, the fresh ingredients and pasta, and the delicious homemade desserts. The internet connection may not be the best, but here, time to yourself is more valuable than distractions. Thanks, Gamze, we'll definitely be back! ❤️ If I had to pick out any downsides, there was some dust on the items, though most of the apartment was clean, including the bathroom. Breakfast is all packaged, so fresh food from a local bar or restaurant might be an improvement.

We stayed in this lovely apartment with our children before the mid-August holiday, and the cleaning lady was very kind. Everything was beautiful, clean, tidy, and in working order, with nothing missing. There was plenty for breakfast, and the beds were cozy and comfortable. The view was breathtaking, and we could enjoy a cool breeze during the hot weather. The spectacular sea is just 20 minutes away. The kids had a blast, and in the evenings we went to the historic center, where the bars and restaurants were open and there were lots of tourists. Thanks to the courteous, kind owner for everything. I highly recommend it, and we'll come back as soon as we have time off.
