Agriturismo Timpa Del Sole

We've come back to this mountaintop resort four times now. It's right in the heart of beautiful nature, with a wonderful owner, and is absolutely relaxing. Heaven on earth.

If you're after a calm, relaxing stay surrounded by nature and away from the usual tourist routes, have a look here. Beautiful scenery, a great host, and even a tennis court and pool.

We’re very happy with our choice. The setting is incredibly beautiful, with wonderful nature and hospitality, and it made for a special holiday.

The owner is kind and brings guests coffee every morning, and the place is quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by greenery. There’s a pool to use, and it isn't especially far from the city. But the little details have been neglected. The rooms are cramped, the walls are peeling from damp, the boiler often breaks down, and the shower has a satin curtain around it. There’s no bar or restaurant now, though it may once have been a charming agriturismo. It could suit someone traveling with pets who has modest expectations.
