Dimora Calauriia - Adults Only

We chose Dimora Calauriia because it’s adults only, hoping for some quiet, and it was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The countryside location means you need a car. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, and the garden and pool area had plenty of spots to sit and relax with a drink. The owners, Antonella and Pino, clearly care about the details. I’d only suggest adding more shade by the pool, since the current umbrellas don’t do much against the blazing sun. Antonella and Pino were lovely and helpful throughout. Antonella booked restaurants and lidos for us and made sure we had vegan cakes and milk in the mornings. Their friendly little dog, Luna, was a delight. One night, Google Maps sent us down a road that had been removed, and our rental car got stuck in mud. Antonella came right away to pick us up; the next day Pino found a farmer to get the car out, saving us the headache of calling the rental company. They couldn’t have been more gracious, and we were very grateful. Aside from the shade, it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it.
