Giardino di Limoni Villa

We slept really well: the beds were comfortable, and the rooms could be made completely dark. Gioacchino was a warm, welcoming host who answered our questions quickly. Families with children will especially enjoy the beautiful garden, with its fruit trees and animals. Even in December, the heated pool meant we could swim and spend time by the water. We happily recommend the place.

We stayed for a week in the two houses with our children and in-laws, and the garden was a special part of it. You can pick eggs, herbs, vegetables, and fruit from all kinds of trees each day. Gio was a kind, fantastic host. It’s quiet and private, with easy parking and a good base for nearby sights. We visited Noto, Etna, Cavgrande del Cassible, Vendicari reserve, Syracuse, and Lido di Noto beach. The town is small and not especially remarkable, but the beach is excellent for kids, with a broad, shallow stretch of sand where they can paddle quite a way out. We also found lovely local restaurants at different levels of sophistication, and all were good. Giardino di Limoni looks just as beautiful as the photos and is well equipped and calming, a nice place to return to or spend a whole day in the garden and pool. Thank you, Gio.

There’s a Bottega Market nearby for groceries, and Lido Di Noto is only 10min away from Noto, a must for nice restaurants in the old town. Gio’s Villa felt like home. We loved the pool, the outside patio where we ate breakfast every day, and the beautiful garden to walk through. A really good stay, and easy to recommend if you’re in southern Sicily.

Very child friendly, with fresh eggs for breakfast. We spent our days walking to the sea, splashing in the pool, relaxing in hammocks, eating fruit from the trees, and feeding the animals. Pretty much everything you’d want from a holiday. A little gem!
