The staff were a real highlight, always happy to help, and breakfast was delicious. The facilities were great and the pool was just perfect. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed, maybe the best, and the highlight of our time in Sicily.

The location worked well as a base for driving, though there’s very little within walking distance and Noto itself is a drive away. Staff were helpful with restaurant and activity suggestions, especially Sergio, who was great. We also loved the tennis court, even if it looked a little neglected. Our superior room was spacious, comfortable and kept clean, and the pool was gorgeous and well cared for. Breakfast felt underwhelming for the price and standard: it was all cold food like cheese, salami and salad, the pastries weren’t great, and there were no cooked options. They often ran out of black tea, and the water was too cold for it. A sofa would have been welcome, since there was room for one. It’s a comfortable, lovely hotel, with a few small things that could make the stay even better.

It’s a handy spot for day trips to Ragusa Ibla or Ortigia, and Noto centre is quite close. The area itself is mostly quiet. We stayed three nights, and the pool area was really nice. The accommodation was always very clean, and all the staff were kind, attentive and helpful. We mostly dealt with Sergio, who was especially lovely.
