The balcony looks out on an amazing view, and the place is wonderfully quiet, well away from urban noise but close to ski centres and mountain trails. A fantastic spot, with lovely owners.

The owners' hospitality is something special, and breakfast is well worth every penny. The apartment is beautiful, modern, and spotless, with gorgeous views in a perfect Dolomites location. Karerhof is a lovely farm and a real hidden gem. We spent a week there in summer, staying in a beautiful chalet with comfortable apartments and jaw-dropping views. It's tucked into a quiet little valley away from tourists, yet close to the attractions and activities in the surrounding main valleys. Hiking and biking trails start nearby. Christine and Bernd take great care of the farm and are warm, welcoming hosts. They shared really helpful advice about things to do, offered bread and bap services, and made products from the garden and farm available. With all the nature around and the farm animals, children are in paradise there.

It's the kind of place you don't want to leave, and I'd rather keep it to myself. I've spent the past five years taking holidays in the Dolomites and seen plenty of beautiful spots, but this one beats them all. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The large windows in the new wing keep the mountains in sight, and the corner apartment brings it all together. Whatever the weather, you can sit comfortably and watch the spectacle outside. The apartment's comfort and interior design add to it, almost like a scene from a Hollywood blockbuster. It's also a great base for hiking and mountain biking. We had incredibly beautiful MTB rides without needing to drive, and photogenic Karreza Lake is just a stone's throw away.
