Stern B&B Hotel & Apartments

We had a really pleasant stay. Everything was clean, and breakfast was good, especially the coffee. The pool area was a big bonus.

The hotel staff were really kind, and the wellness area was good too. WiFi was sadly very slow and didn't reach most rooms. Getting around by Skibus worked well, and you can walk to Carezza in just a few minutes. Breakfast was a nice little buffet. Dinner had quite a lot to choose from, though that kind of “luxury food” isn't really for me, even if plenty of people seem to enjoy it.

The Rosengarten and Latemar scenery is right nearby, with plenty of hiking routes to choose from, so the location worked perfectly for an active Dolomites holiday. The breakfast was fresh and beautifully laid out, with a great range and many local products. Morning service was always warm and attentive. We stayed at Stella Hotel Stern last summer and felt at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were modern, cozy, and very well kept. We especially liked the spacious, stylish bathroom, which was a lovely place to relax. You can tell they care about comfort and quality. The hotel has a welcoming feel and excellent service. We'd happily come back.

The ski bus stops right outside Hotel Stern, there's plenty of parking, and skiers can dry their gear in the ski storage room. The pool, sauna, and steam room make up a lovely spa, with big windows looking out at the mountains from the loungers. We've been to Hotel Stern in Welschnofen five times, and it always feels a bit like coming home. The family atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff are a big part of that. Everyone made us feel welcome and looked after, and they handled requests right away with a smile. The decor throughout is tasteful and high quality, with books, little lights, and decorative touches that reflect the owner's personal style. Nothing feels unnecessary or missing, and the place is just pleasing to look at. Breakfast is another treat, with fresh, top quality regional food, carefully presented, plus lovely china and cutlery. It's a wonderful way to start the day. B&B Hotel Stern is somewhere we always enjoy returning to, and we're already looking forward to the next visit.
