Lovely village, and the nicest guesthouse ever.

We only had one night at the Garni Sonnegg, which was a shame. The owner welcomed us warmly right away. She’s extremely kind and friendly, clearly loves her work, and makes guests feel at home. Our room was clean and spacious, and she even let us keep our motorcycle in the garage. Breakfast was authentic and all locally sourced. The homemade jams and freshly picked raspberries were exceptional. We’ll definitely be back.

The owner is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and made us feel right at home. The rooms were excellent and very clean. It’s a quiet, relaxing guesthouse with a panoramic view over green meadows and various hiking trails nearby. Breakfast was excellent all around, especially the delicious bread and Gertrud's spectacular homemade jams. Full marks.

The trip to the different towns was long, but Garni Sonnegg made a lovely place to return to. We picked it rather spontaneously and were so glad we did. The owners were warm and smiling, our room was spotless, and the little details were all taken care of. Breakfast was excellent too. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

Gertrude was so kind and ready to help with anything we needed. The place is peaceful, the room was exceptionally clean, and breakfast included homemade treats and an amazing raspberry jam. We spent six really relaxing days here. A big thumbs up, thank you 😍
