Gonzo, the family's Labrador, was friendly without ever getting in the way. The owners were incredibly kind and always available, and the place had that typical mountain, family-run feel. The rooms and bathrooms are quite small, but have everything you need. Prices are reasonable.

Our group of 10 comes back every year for a motorcycle weekend, and I look forward to it each time. Evenings at Villa Mahlknecht are a chance to unwind. In the morning, coffee on the terrace overlooking the rose garden, with cowbells in the background, is something special. The host family is welcoming, and the location is wonderfully quiet. Rooms are simple but clean.

The rooms are small, all wood, and the bathroom window looks out onto the mountains. It's a quiet, well-kept place, just 5 minutes from the Obereggen ski lifts, so it worked perfectly for skiing. The staff were helpful and friendly. I'd love to come back.

The owner made us feel right at home in this warm, family-run guesthouse. Our room was spacious, with a bathroom window and a spectacular view of the Obereggen slopes. A really nice place, highly recommended!

There's a unique view from the breakfast room and terrace, and plenty of parking. Our dog already feels at home here. The rooms were clean, breakfast was perfect, and everything was as expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We'd love to return.
