The parking is beneath the hotel, but getting in is a real challenge. There’s a very narrow entrance and a tight 90-degree turn between two walls, with fewer than ten spaces. The road-facing rooms are noisy, and the beds were so uncomfortable that I sank into a dip and felt it in my back. The rooms have an old-fashioned look, with dated decor. Service was okay, though breakfast offered very little choice. If you enjoy an old style, you may like it. If you’re expecting the latest technology, this probably isn’t the hotel for you.

The location made it easy to get around Novara on foot, and the staff were friendly and paid attention to what I asked for. My room was big enough for a morning workout, and everything was very clean, even if the hotel isn’t modern. I enjoyed my two nights here while on a business trip through Italy. It felt like especially good value after the awful Airbnb I’d stayed in before checking in. I’d definitely come back on another work trip.

The location is good, but the hotel faces the morgue and the street is noisy. Inside, the rooms were old, dirty, and smelled bad, and the bed was uncomfortable. I’d avoid it.

Breakfast had good products, though there weren’t many pastries. The rooms were clean, and the hotel is conveniently placed in the city center. You can hear some sound through the windows, but it wasn’t a major problem for me.

The hotel’s location was the one good point for me. The rooms are very old, and the WiFi didn’t work. I was also surprised to find that guests weren’t allowed to bring outside food into their rooms.
