The villa has the feel of stepping into another time, and there’s a little museum with a fantastic collection of First World War items. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, and the breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from. Service was very professional and caring when I visited last week. There’s a small pool and lots of parking, too. It’s a great area for a relaxing weekend, with castles and wineries to visit, or just walks and local food.

We had a really peaceful, enjoyable weekend here. The villa sits among the prosecco fields, with a lovely garden and pool, and the staff are both friendly and professional. Ask about having a prosecco tasting by the pool.

Exploring the Prosecco hills on the bicycles they provide was a real highlight, and the DOC wine tasting came with helpful explanations. We also loved the homemade cakes and pastries at breakfast. Our room was spotless, with fresh towels every day. Francesca, the owner, and all the staff made us feel at home with their warm, professional welcome. The splendid 19th-century villa is full of the Panigai family’s history.
