Porta Orientalis Venice

The rooms were spacious and the location was quiet, while still not too far from the train station. Communication with the host was great, and check-in and check-out were super easy.

We were out most of the time, so the simple, clean facilities and little kitchen for breakfast were enough for us. The best part was the location, right by Strada Nova, the main street toward the San Marco area and other places. Chiara was helpful and full of useful information. We'd go back.

Chiara, the host, was really kind, and the place was nice. We had a pretty big room and a good kitchen. I gave it four stars because I had to leave early and sent my sister to stay the remaining days. I left some food for her, but when she arrived, it was gone.

The staff are really nice, and there's free WiFi. It's near a waterbus stop with direct connections to the airport and train station. The building is old but has been modernized, keeping the original floors while adding new furniture and a nice style. Every room has a large kitchen, which makes it a good option for families or a longer stay.
