We left feeling disappointed, upset, and still hungry. The view was lovely, so we’d come in expecting a nice evening, but there was only one waiter rushing between tables. It was hard to get his attention while trying to order, and the owner sat nearby getting her own food from the kitchen instead of helping. We finally ordered at 8:45 and didn’t get our meal until 9:30. The food wasn’t even that good, and the whole thing ruined our evening. 😭

We were there on August 15, 2025, and even the coffee was terrible. The main dishes were mediocre when they finally came, after we’d sat down at 8:00 p.m. and waited until 9:45 for food. My 8-year-old’s appetizer had been forgotten, which added another ten minutes. The owner sat right beside us the whole time and seemed aware of the problems, but didn’t respond. A truly frustrating, disappointing dinner, with abysmal service.

The tasting menu is a good pick if you want to sample more dishes, and the price is fairly reasonable. The food is good and local, in a nice hotel with a Tuscan feel. A few of the younger staff seemed slow and distracted, which took away from the experience, but overall I liked the place. 🤌

The rooms are simple, but clean and practical, and the view is gorgeous. We spent a weekend here with friends and had a great time. The food was really tasty, and the staff made a great first impression, so friendly and welcoming.

The restaurant was very good, with lovely wine, and the place itself is beautiful, with a wonderful view and a nice pool. Our four families stayed for seven nights. The rooms were clean and had air conditioning, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we asked for something. Still, we had no hot water on three evenings in a row, apparently because the boiler hadn't been switched on in time. Check-in also felt rather unwelcoming at first. That may have been down to the language barrier or cultural differences, and things did improve as the stay went on, but it was a pity not to feel that hospitality in the first few days. I'd definitely recommend it for dinner or a night or two, but not a full week if you don't speak Italian. The main business is clearly the restaurant, so don't expect a B&B atmosphere. The rooms are nice and clean, though.
