Villa Mirella

The owner was kind and helpful, and we’d make this our first choice if we’re back in the area. One small thing could make it even better: breakfast served on site under that beautiful sea-view porch. Then it would deserve 6 out of 5 stars. Recommended.

The sea-view terrace in our attic room was the highlight, and worth the price on its own. The room was very spacious, with a lovely bathroom and roomy shower. Getting up there meant climbing very narrow spiral stairs, but that didn’t bother us. We stayed the first week of July in this beautiful villa, and room F is one I’d recommend to couples. Barbara and Tristano were extremely kind and always available. Breakfast is served at the landing stage in front of the property, and parking inside the villa was very convenient. It was a beautiful, relaxing holiday. I’d recommend Villa Mirella to everyone.

Barbara paid close attention to what guests needed, and Tristano and Natalia were very kind and always available. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a refrigerator and outdoor space. The property is right on the seafront, has parking on site, and is convenient for getting around, including using the free shuttles. We had a comfortable, convenient, very clean stay at Villa Mirella and will definitely return.

The villa itself is splendid and right by the sea, with an excellent location. That didn’t make up for the cramped room or the price, though, and we won’t be back. Our room for three was small, with no balcony. The third bed had been squeezed in at the end of the double, taking up all the space. There was nowhere else to dry towels and swimsuits, so the clothesline in the room made it feel even tighter. At €160 per day, this seemed far too much for this kind of accommodation, even in high season. Breakfast was disappointing too. The coupon at the bar across the street covered one drink and one food item, and anything else cost extra.
