They took the money under the table and didn’t pay us any fines, even though they’d been told they had to. They never provided breakfast, and there was no cleaning for a week. The shower was clogged, so we cleaned it ourselves. There was all sorts of stuff in there, I won’t even get into it. We barely had time to arrive on the first night before the owners went out to dinner with other people. I don’t recommend it.

We chose this fairly isolated spot for a family holiday. There’s no breakfast service, just a basket of packaged snacks and four Nutellas. B&nienteB has two small apartments. We were out all day and came back after dinner. Luckily, the family in the other apartment was wonderful, and we became friends right away. We’d chat outside our rooms when we got back. On August 15th, we arranged dinner together, and the owner stopped by too. When his wife arrived, she was screaming so loudly that it echoed through the village and really upset us. Then she came over and yelled that it wasn’t a nightclub, that it was late and people shouldn’t stay up so late. Imagine the children’s faces. We told her we weren’t bothering anyone, and that calling it a nightclub was insulting when there were just two families. She was arguing with her husband but treated us, the paying guests, shamefully, then walked away still insulting us. She was rude and completely out of line. It was a very bad experience. The good parts were meeting people we’ll definitely see again and visiting Prignano Cilento for the first time, where my dad was born, along with seeing some wonderful places. There’s no hot tub, despite what the information says. Check-out is at 10 a.m., and the owner told us, “Tomorrow you’re leaving.” Thanks to Antonio for his cheerfulness and for joining us during the “night club” evenings 🤦🙄.

The room was small, and the owners were rude and unwelcoming. They didn’t clean the room or change the sheets, and there was no breakfast. For what they charged, it felt like a complete scam, especially since we didn’t even check in as we were supposed to. I strongly advise against staying here! 🤮

The owners, Antonio, Virna, Giuseppe, and the legendary Gimmy, their big cuddly dog, made us feel like family with such a special, rare warmth. Our cats, Morgana and Melusina, stayed with us too, and agree it was good for the soul. We spent 15 unforgettable days at Corte Risco and plan to return. Its position between the countryside and the sea made it easy to get to Cilento’s loveliest towns and beaches. Coming back to the cool, clean, comfortable accommodations was a pleasure. The outdoor space was immaculate and a treat, perfect for romantic dinners, reading, or listening to music in peace. At night, the quiet lulled us to sleep. Thank you so much for making our holiday special 🙏 Paola and Alfredo (Rome)

The outdoor patio was a highlight, with tables, sofas, comfortable loungers, and carefully tended plants around a beautiful hot tub. Candles and lighting effects gave the terrace a poetic feel, lovely for meals outdoors or a relaxing or romantic evening under the moon. The owners, Virna and Antonio, were delightful and treated our family with great kindness during our week around Ferragosto. The rooms are brand new, air-conditioned, clean, and well furnished with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The B&B sits high up and close to popular places like Agropoli, Santa Maria di Castellabate, and Paestum, so it’s easy to get around while escaping the crowds of seaside resorts. It offers a nice balance of things to do and quiet. The owners kindly made us a delicious octopus salad and made us feel truly at home. The week flew by. We got very fond of adorable Jimmy, a playful, cheerful dog. We’ll be back soon, highly recommended! ♥️
