Agriturismo San Giovanni

The pork was a standout, and everyone left full and happy. They also handled it thoughtfully when they learned one of us was vegetarian, bringing out special options from then on. The whole meal had plenty of variety and was delicious, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the price was very reasonable. I’d gladly recommend this place.

That €40 fixed-menu feast is hard to beat. We got wine, water and coffee, a choice of three desserts, pork, three pasta dishes and a starter with around eight different items. In most restaurants, €40 would cover only a couple of courses. We’ve tried about a dozen agriturismos over the years, and this one is right up there with them. Friendly staff and great food. Wear loose trousers!

The staff make you feel at home, they’re helpful, warm and very talkative. The set menu is hearty and built around simple traditional dishes and local ingredients, with house wine and water included. There’s a huge amount of food for a reasonable price. Agriturismo San Giovanni is a lovely rustic spot for an authentic Sardinian meal.

The staff were friendly and the service was good, but the food was only okay for €40 per person on the fixed menu. We’ve eaten better at other agriturismos nearby. The room felt tired and the atmosphere was off, and it wasn’t very clean, with spiders above the table and dirty plates. We came because the other places in the area were fully booked that day. I wouldn’t recommend it.
