Felix Hotels - Hotel Felix Olbia

If you're using Olbia as a base for day trips, the location is handy. The Felix is about a 30-minute walk from the city center, or you can take the bus from right outside, though you'll still need to walk a few blocks to reach the main area. Taxis cost a lot, over €25, since they're mostly private black car services. If you want to stay in the center itself, this isn't the best pick. Our deluxe room was spacious, with a nice balcony for morning or evening. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, unlike what I've found at most European hotels. The hotel is modern and simple, and breakfast offered plenty of variety. I had dinner there once too, and enjoyed it. Staff were all friendly and happy to answer questions.

The one thing that seemed odd was the lack of a toilet or shower by the pool. We had to go to another floor, past reception, to use the toilet while still wet. I'm not sure why the architects didn't account for this. Maybe the pool area could be redone to include both showers and toilets? Otherwise, five stars. We stayed three nights in April 2026, and the hotel was new, modern, and clean. The spa was nice, the pool was warm, and the Jakuzzi was great. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh orange juice made for us, and they also prepared a takeaway breakfast for our early checkout. Reception staff were very kind. The rooms were roomy and the bathrooms huge.

It's about a 25-minute walk to the centre of Olbia, but the number 1 or 2 bus from the stop outside gets you close for €1.50. The rooms were nice, the staff were lovely and helpful, and breakfast had an excellent selection.

The bus stop right outside made getting around so easy, especially with big bags. It's a direct ride on the airport bus, about 10 minutes by bus to the town's main centre, and you can also reach different beaches easily by bus. The hotel was very clean, and the first thing I noticed was how nice it smelled. They gave us a free room upgrade when we arrived, which was a lovely surprise. Guests can book an hour and a half in the spa during their stay. It has a sauna, steam room, relaxation room, and shower experiences. Breakfast was lovely, especially the pastries. They can fill croissants with chocolate, vanilla, or pistachio. Dinner wasn't the best for vegetarians, though everything was made to a high standard. The staff were all very helpful and nice. In summer there's a rooftop pool and a main pool, both closed in winter, plus a hot tub. There aren't many loungers at the main pool, but I never had trouble finding one and didn't see anyone else struggle either. The only little annoyance was that we couldn't figure out the room lights, but we had a good laugh about it.
