The terrace is lovely, with a view over the city, and the place itself is clean and modern. For a night passing through Olbia, it could work. I gave it 2 stars because I don't want anyone judging by the stars alone to misunderstand my reservations. For a holiday, I'd pick somewhere else. In apartment 2, I think room 5, the double bed takes up too much of the space. There was nowhere for my second suitcase except the narrow corridor, where it could have been a safety problem in an emergency. Getting around meant moving single file, and the balcony window couldn't open fully because of the bed. The bathroom was clean, modern, and spacious, but the shower drained slowly and its broken head wouldn't stay up, so I had to hold it while showering. The door-opening technology struck me as innovative but pointless, more like a narcissistic impulse than something that makes life easier. I'd rather have room to move and a comfortable shower, even if that meant opening the doors with a miserable old-fashioned key. If I were the owner, I'd reconsider how much was spent and where. The building's underground parking had litter and abandoned pizza boxes, though there's indoor parking and an elevator that goes directly to the apartment floor. The outskirts seemed quiet, and I got the impression parking wasn't a particular problem in the area. I knew it was far from the center, but hadn't expected the stretch between the two to be so dark and empty, with bumpy country roads that don't feel wise to use after a certain hour. After dinner, there's nothing around and everything is asleep. Fine for one night, perhaps, but not a vacation. Maybe that's also what the improvised "hotel business" of the people managing it is aiming for. One more thing about card payments, whether through booking or directly: are we aware that private "hosts" outside the traditional hotel system handle our sensitive card details while operating through booking in an ordinary residential condominium? My advice is to use prepaid cards and replace them after the vacation. You shouldn't trust anyone!
