There was only hand soap for the shower!!!

I’d strongly advise people to stay somewhere else. The place was filthy and badly maintained. The towels were old, torn, and stained, and the bed was beyond comment. The mattress had huge springs digging into my back. This place was nowhere near worth even a tenth of what I paid. There wasn’t a wardrobe or a terrace, and there was no welcome kit, just hand soap. It felt like everything had been done on the cheap, purely for profit, with no care or respect for the customer. Never again.

The central location is the one good point. I booked because the listing said free parking at the property. When I arrived, I was told that apparently it only meant I might get lucky and find a space nearby. For 90 euros, I got a tiny room with no closet or chair, so my things had to go on the floor. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and there were damp marks on the wall. No toilet brush in the bathroom, no breakfast, and not even a voucher to eat elsewhere. Avoid it.

The cleaning lady was excellent, but that was the only good part of our stay at Matty's Hotel. We were charged €56 for tourist tax, which was supposed to be paid on arrival along with the Hotels.com invoice. Then, when we got there, they demanded €86 instead. It felt like money pulled out of thin air, a real scam. There’s no reception, only WhatsApp. Our beds were broken and the mattresses paper-thin, so we slept terribly and ended up with awful back pain. There was mold on the ceiling, no balcony despite the room being advertised with one, and the room was much smaller than the photos. The air conditioning barely worked, making it unbearably hot. We had only three small drawers and no closet. There was no parking either. We drove around in circles and eventually found a space 3 km away. Avoid this place.
